Position SummaryThe Senior Sales Advisor will demonstrate a laser focus on selling managed technology solutions such as, but not limited to, network management, cybersecurity, cloud, and computer support services. The ideal applicant will provide a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and relationship building skills.

Requirements: 

  • Broad understanding of IT fundamentals (e.g., networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing)
  • Ability to assess client needs and articulate the value propositions for MSP solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate new leads, and networking
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiations
  • Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships
  • Identify prospect requirements including technical, prospect infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements and call prospects to continually find new customers and project.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals
  • Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop informational seminars, marketing material, targeted campaigns, and qualified leads
  • Effectively qualify opportunities to determine scope of work
  • Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and build long-lasting relationships
  • Proactive and independent self-starter with a "can do" attitude with minimal day-to-day guidance
  • 25% travel - local and domestic

Knowledge, Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3-5 + years in B2B sales, preferably in technology or managed technology services
  • Prior experience selling MSP services, or IT consulting
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles - lead generation, prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closing deals
  • Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • The ability to engage with technical and non-technical team members
  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships
  • Naturally curious and eager to take on new challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple client requests and to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment
